La SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA è stata registrata dove gli strumenti orchestrali suonano in modo più naturale: in una sala da concerto. E non una sala da concerto qualunque ma in una tra le più apprezzate al mondo per la sua acustica, utilizzando le migliori attrezzature disponibili per mano di Keith O. Johnson, vincitore di diversi "Grammy" per le sue registrazioni di musica classica.

Tutti gli strumenti singoli e le sezioni sono stati registrati nella loro posizione e campionati cromaticamente, con diversi livelli di dinamica e con diverse articolazioni e metodi di esecuzione. E nonostante l'imponenza della quantità di campioni, la libreria è stata organizzata in modo da risultare estremamente agile nella consultazione e semplice nell'utilizzo.

La SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA utilizza il nuovo player della EastWest PLAY, compatibile con tutti i più moderni sistemi operativi come Windows Vista e Mac Os 10.5 Leopard. Funziona perfettamente sui nuovi Mac-Intel, su tutti i sequencer a 64 bit, mantenedo però anche la retro-compatibilità con XP, Mac Os 10.4 e le macchine Macintosh con processore PPC.
